Much Needed Relief!!! December 14, 2010

So, I am sure that you all are wondering what in the world has taken me so long to write on my blog?  It has literally, as of tomorrow, been two full months since I have written.  I have to admit it… for one thing… I am a SLACKER!!!!   Not only that, but I also have had quite a bit going on lately.  I am sure that you all know that I had surgery back at the end of October.  What you might not know is what kind of surgery I actually had.  Well… here goes…..   I. Had. A. Breast. Reduction.

This wasn’t just some split second decision on my part, but more of a long awaited and long suffering year and a half since my doctor suggested that I have the procedure done type of thing.  Over the last few years, it seemed that the size of my breasts had begun to overtake who I was and delegate what I did, as well as what I wore.  My posture suffered drastically, and my shoulders, neck and back ached beyond belief.  I can remember many nights asking my husband to rub my back under my shoulder blades, but he could never reach where it hurt, for it was deep inside from the weight of my BOB’s.(Big old Boobies)

Trying to walk with my back straight was, in itself, a major feat, which took so much out of me that I was only able to do it for a short while, and then back to my bad posture self I went.  People, (men in general) would talk to them and not me, which gave me a strange feeling, because I was so much more than just two mammory glands out there for all of the world to see.  They had literally taken over my life.

So, after much delegation and thought, my doctor and I decided that this is the best thing that I could do for myself , both physically and mentally.  So after years of looking like this:

My back is not hurting, I can walk with my shoulders back, and my posture is so much better.  I am working on working out so that I can get the rest of me looking like it should again, but enough of that… here are some after pics:

Don’t know about you all, but I myself can sure see and feel the difference!!!  I would have to say after the slight setback of contracting staph in one of my stitches, that this is the best thing that I have ever done for myself.  I am writing this to help others out there who may need this surgery but who are scared to do it and to give them strength and help them to know that it will be alright.  What a change it has made in my life and it will in yours as well.  If you are considering it and have any questions, I would be glad to give you the knowledge that I have on it and wish you all the best of luck!

Now, since I am a bit of a slacker and am not sure if I will be on here or not before Christmas, I want to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New year!!!  Love you all!!!

Busy Week October 15, 2010

Well, this week started out wonderful!!!  Lacey and I were both baptized Sunday together, and it was without a doubt one of the most awesome experiences ever!!!  On Monday, I started my teleconferences that lasted half a day Monday, half a day Tuesday, and half a day on Wednesday.  Followed by a test today over what we learned the last few days.  This is all so that I can actually bind coverages on peoples insurance.  I finally got it all done, and now, I believe, I am official.

On another note, I have been dealing with a decision that needed to be made regarding a surgery that I need to have, but am scared to.  I have finally decided to do it, and called and scheduled it yesterday for a surgery date of next Friday, Oct 22nd.

I won’t say what kind of surgery, but it will definitely benefit me and help my back , neck and shoulders, as well as take off a few pounds in the process.  Thank goodness it is completely covered by insurance!!!  It is not an elective surgery, but rather something that needed to be done a while ago.  If you want to know more about it, just message me and I will share.

I will be off of work for about a couple of weeks afterward, so I will let you all know how I am doing.  I am asking for prayers for this, as surgery is always a scary thing.

Thanks guys!!!   Love you all!!

My New Undertaking!!!!! September 30, 2010

Hey everyone!!!!!  It has been quite a while since I have had a blog up and going, so it may take me a bit to get back into the swing of things.  Over the last few months, I have done quite a bit of soul searching and have come back to where I should have been all along.  Where is this you say?  Well, I shall tell you!

Sunday, September 19th, 2010, I recommitted my life to God.  This is completely the best decision that I have ever made.  My life has been so full of joy every since.  I had forgotten what I was missing, and am wondering how in the world I lost my way in the first place, but am grateful that God loves me and is willing to forgive me for being dumb!!!  I bet you thought that was it…. well… that is only the beginning.

On Sunday, September 26th, 2010, I received the best present that I could have ever gotten when my beautiful daughter, shown below, gave her life to God, as well!!!!  Cailem goes to church with us, and I know that it is only a matter of time before he makes his life right, as well.  Oh yeah, did I mention that she and I are both getting baptized on October 10th together!!!

Also, there has been a new undertaking in my life.  I have went through the grueling hours of insurance prep classes for life and health as well as property and casualty and am now an associate agent for Allstate insurance in Russellville!!!  Our office opens this Friday, October 1st, and I could not be happier.  I am working with a great Principle agent, the owner of our company, Racheal Rackley, and her mother in law, Miss Rita!!!!  I LOVE IT!!!!!

I have been so blessed.  I have been praying that God would help me find where I should be, and then he showed me this opportunity.  I can’t express the gratitude that I feel towards the Lord for answering my prayers and putting me with such awesome people!!!  I have never worked with anyone that I just seemed to fit with!!!  I know it has to be a Godsend!!!  Thank you so much Racheal, and I am so so so excited to see how quickly our business grows!.

Well, that would be about it for tonight.  I am going to try and make an honest attempt to keep this updated daily, if not every other day, and share the blessings that is my crazy life.  I know that it seems crazy at times, but I would never take ANYTHING  for it!!!  Love you guys!!!
